VOLUME 22 NOW BEING PUBLISHED

Volume 22 of CAIS is now being published. It features a new format for all of our published manuscripts. From now on, there is only one version of each paper, not two, as has been the case through Volume 21. There is a new style sheet that reflects the new format, currently available under the Format tab at left.

NEW SUBMISSION PROCESS FOR CAIS

Starting on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, all submissions to CAIS must be done through Scholar One, the electronic journal submissions system that is becoming the industry standard. To submit a new manuscript to CAIS, go to the CAIS Scholar One site. If you do not have an account already, you will need to create one. Once you have logged in, and you begin the submission process, you will need to choose between peer and editorial board review. You will also have the opportunity to choose to submit your manuscript to a particular department if you want to. CAIS has four departments: diffusion of the Internet, health information systems, design science, and papers in French. If you have questions, Scholar One has excellent help facilities that can help you with the process.

THANKS TO MICHAEL MEYERS

After almost 10 years on the editorial board of Communications of the Association for Information Systems, Michael Meyers of the University of Auckland is stepping down. Michael was one of the original members of the editorial board when the journal was founded by Paul Gray. I'd like to thank Michael for all of his efforts on behalf of CAIS over the years. He will be missed.

VOLUME 20 NOW COMPLETE

Volume 20 of CAIS is now complete. The volume began on July 1, 2007, and ended officially on December 31, 2007. Volume 20 contains 60 articles. It is one of the most interesting and varied volumes of CAIS yet.

CITING OUR JOURNAL

In order for CAIS to be recognized by certain indexing services, it is important that the journal name be cited consistently. The preferred way to cite the journal's name is as Communications of the Association for Information Systems. We would appreciate it if you would use this name for the journal when you cite the articles that have been published here. Thanks.
